Originally Gearing & Bibbey
the business started in 1982 and soon grew into a highly regarded local
professional pratice with 2 offices situated in Bishop's Stortford and
nearby Sawbridgeworth dealing with Commercial and Residential property.
The pratice was acquired by
Black Horse Agencies in 1989 and after 3 years John Gearing re-established
the former style and manner trading as Gearing & Company.
Eight years later the residential
agency of Gearing & Company was acquired by Haart Estate Agents PLC,
which then saw a move from High Street, retail premises to bright modern
air-conditioned first floor offices at Kenburgh Court just on the outskirts
of town.
